Stretched Wash and Go w/ Eco Styler Olive Oil Gel and  Shea Moisture Curling Souffle :)

So I tried the Shea Moisture Curling Souffle mixed with some Eco Styler Olive Oil just to see if the Eco could hold the Souffle's ability to "poof" my hair down lol!!!!  And it did!  I was able to get 3 days out of this stretched wash and go and I'm only washing it because I sweated yesterday and my scalp is telling me to get to rinsing!  I love the way my hair looks with this wash and go!  My coils are poppin' like crazy and my hair has a nice sheen to it but......... my hair feels "eh" :/

It's not particularly soft and it's not particularly crunchy either lol!  It's definitely not as soft as it normally is when I don't use the Eco!  So what does this mean for me???  I'm definitely glad I tried this combo because it allowed me to be able to use a gel that has been under my sink for like 9 months!  I'm going to try this combo with the Eco Argan Oil Gel to see if my hair feels softer.  I've never tried that gel before but I'm excited to do so after this experience with the olive oil one.

It turns out that The Eco Styler gels may have a place in my regimen during the summertime at least to keep my hair under control. I like knowing that I won't have to baby my hair and constantly manipulate it.  Also it allows me not to worry about it doing crazy things during the day without warning lol.   (Ya'll my fro has been SERIOUSLY out of control for the past couple weeks!)

I know there are lighter formulas of Eco Styler and I will probably give those a try a little later.  Have a great day!!!

Day 1 Eco Olive Oil/Souffle Stretched Wash n Go

Day 2 Eco Olive Oil/ Souffle Stretched Wash n Go

Day 3 Eco Olive Oil/ Souffle Stretched Wash n Go
Excuse the lighting, it was getting late and I almost forgot to take pics!!!

Hey Shelsiemars!
Don't get discouraged! Everyones hair is different :) Many things can affect growth like genetics, diet/ exercise, medications, stress, etc. Sometimes it may be that you may have breakage that is going undetected. Too much manipulation, tension...
I don't do very much to my hair...I wear it out all the time but I make sure that its clean and moisturized at all times. I really try to keep things simple. I have a Playlist on my channel called Regimen and also a Category on here called Regimen as well that may be helpful :) I have used both the curly girl method and LOC method since early in my journey and they have no doubt helped me maintain my fro. They haven't aided in growth but they have helped my hair refrain from drying out or breaking excessively. Stay encouraged!
