My Gel Comparisons :)

  I'm not too big on gels in my regimen, but they do have an important place for my fro.  Gels help keep my coils from wrapping around themselves and causing all sorts of knots.  I have less problems with SSK's and tangles when I use a gel vs when I don't. Especially if my hair is in a shrunken state :)   Here are the gels I currently have:

Fantasia IC Hair Polisher Styling Gel

* Contains a WATER SOLUBLE silicone
* Curly Girl Friendly
* Great coil definition

Hi Naturalme4c,
I have been natural for a few years after having done a big chop myself, back in 2010. However, I never knew how to care for my natural hair until recently thanks to a friend who suggested I watch the many Youtube videos. Until then I was perfectly content with my 'fro. I am a little bit of a product junkie since I am trying to figure out what works for me, and I am now one of your subscribers! I am a little confused about which Aftersun gel to purchase at the CVS pharmacy. I see the soothing version & the moisture version, but not a hair holding gel version if one exists. Please clarify this for me. Thank you :-)

Hey coolingwinds!
Thank you soo much for your support! I'm really happy you like this channel :) The aloe vera gel from cvs is the one used for skin...I use it on my hair though lol. Another brand that has identical ingredients is the fruit of the earth brand :) People like using that one on their hair too. I still like these gels but found out that the ingredients dmdm hydantoin can be questionable :/ Right now, as my hair has grown my favorite gel is the fantasia ic
