Hey!  It's no secret that thus far, Jane Carter products have worked fantastic on my hair since adding them to my stash. My hair responds very well to the products and today, I review the Nutrient Replenishing Conditioner and Wrap and Roll from the line. I hope it helps! :)

Jane Carter Solutions Response

As you may know, I have been using a few of the Jane Carter products on my hair since last winter and I have really enjoyed the products that I've tried thus far.  However, I did notice that there seemed to be different formulas available and as a purchaser I wanted to make sure I would be able to still find the formulas I currently have since I like them so much. :)  I also have received questions of people asking where to find certain formulations etc.  So I decided to reach out to the Jane Carter Solution company and inquired about the product labeling.  I'm so happy that they responded to me with the details. Here's what a representative sent:

Hi Kriss,

We are so glad that you are enjoying our products!

In regard to the ingredient change, the answer is yes and no. First things first, we are going through EU compliance, (so we can sell to our curly ladies in Europe) which is a huge process and it has required us to re work our labels a bit. The formulas have stayed the same, we have a few different sets of labels out in the market and we do apologize for any confusion.

Another thing about labels is I always tell customers not to take the order of ingredients so literally, simply for the fact that sometime we have 8 ingredients that are all of 1% concentration, one has to go first and one has to last, it doesn't necessarily mean the first ingredient has a higher concentration, etc.

Thirdly, since we are in the natural product market, things are constantly changing, and new ingredients are developed every year to be more health conscious. For example, we are looking to change from our hydrolyzed wheat protein to a quinoa protein in the coming year due to the heighten awareness of gluten allergies. We are looking to do ingredient reviews annually to keep the best ingredients in the hands of our customers. Of course we always test to ensure our product preform the same or better. We would never alter an ingredient that would compromise the integrity of performance.

Additionally, we had one or two label misprints this year that we tried to handle as swiftly as possible but, mistakes happen and we do our best to try and fix them.

If you have any specific ingredient questions, please let me know and I will be sure to get you an answer.

Thanks again.

Best,
