I picked up the Tangle Tamer :)

Hey!  I stopped at Sally's today to pick up more Eden Body Works Cleansing Cowash because I seriously love that stuff and I decided to take a look at the combs and brushes.  Combs and brushes are not really a large part of my regimen lol.  However, I usually wear my hair semi stretched in twistouts so my fingers are able to do most of the work.  Lately, the styles that have been successful for me have been wash and gos and flexi rod/satin roller sets.  I have no problem finger detangling my rod sets because my hair is pretty stretched out.  For my  tight true wash and gos, although I have more trouble, I am able to finger detangle them... however, it takes a long time! So I wanted to see if I could find something to help me out with that.

I ended up picking up the Tangle Tamer Max for $9.99 that is similar to the Tangle Teezer :)  I have heard both good and iffy things about the tangle teezer... most people like it and some people say it tore their hair up. :/  I have a specific plan for how I want to use this product lol.  I plan to use it on semi damp hair that has some sort of detangling aid/conditioner/oil in it. Trust, I will be VERY careful when using this tool. (Ms. Fro is sure to let me know if she likes this or not lol...especially since she has been very vocal about things like glycerin lately!)   I'll let you know how it goes!  Have a blessed day!!!

I bought the tangle teezer on Saturday after a painful detangling session with my 5 year old. I used it on myself Monday. One word, BOMB! Best thing since sliced bread for this super thick 4z hair. I wish I would have bought it sooner.

Have you used this yet? I have true 4c hair and I need some help with detangling... it's hard, I hate doing it, it hurts and I feel like I'm tearing my hair out with my fingers ( don't use combs)! Please help me...lol.

Hey Beatrice!

I'm still playing around with this tool :) it works nice to remove shed hairs but its pretty difficult to hold....the handle is useless! I'd totally prefer it not to be there and would trade it for the tangle teezer since that one has no handle. I ve never tried the tangle teezer but if its like the same bristles or teeth as this one, I'd choose that one lol

Hey Argelia!
I found it at Sally's. I wouldn't recommend this brush because it cause major incomplete splits in my hair. I have a detailed video about it lol. Be careful if you use it :)
