It's been a few months since I started using greek yogurt and apple cider vinegar in my regimen and I really like it. I think doing these treatments regularly have helped me not have to do a dramatic cut on my hair to rid myself of the incomplete splits. So far, I've been able to trim them off gradually. BTW, I've only tried the 0% fat yogurt but it's said that the 2 % fat and full fat work better on the hair. One day I hope to try them out but haven't been able to find it. In the meantime, the one I'm using is working like a charm. Right now, I use the greek yogurt every 2 weeks to once a month. I use the apple cider vinegar once a month. Greek Yogurt Benefits: Adds strength Adds shine Moisturizes (2% and full fat yogurt are said to be more moisturizing) Coconut Oil Hair Benefits: Penetrates Hair shaft for extra nourishment Prevents protein loss Adds strength and shine Aids in moisture retention Prevents hair from swelling too much during washing session Avocado Oil/Butter Hair Benefits: Softens and conditions hair Sun protection Penetrates hair shaft Helps seal moisture Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Benefits: Clarifies and conditions Regulates PH (skin) Dandruff/itch relief Stimulates scalp Closes cuticle for smoother hair
