I recently shared how I have been stretching out my true wash and go's into larger fros using the Goody Ouchless Flex Updo Barrettes (smaller size). These clips have been around for a long time but I always but them on the back burner when it came down to buying them because of their price. They range $3.59 and up for two....and I knew I'd need waaay more than two. Plus, I wasn't quite sure how they would work for me. I was browsing Ebay and found a great deal on them (12 clips for 12 bucks or something) so I stocked up! I initially got them to use during my cowashing sessions in hopes to avoid twisting my hair every time I washed it....but I haven't gotten them to work that way just yet because my shrinkage is MASSIVE when I was my hair lol. However, I love these clips to help stretch out my hair without having to twist or band it up all the time... especially when it's late! They are flexible, and don't pull or tug on my hair. They also don't have metal and are very gentle. These clips save me time from doing my old stretched wash & go technique from April, all over my head... which was twisting my roots a few times down and leaving the rest out to coil. I still like to do that technique on my sensitive areas, like the nape and edges just to be extra careful. :) But since my hair is getting longer, these clips now work for me. BTW, I usually end up using about 13-15 of these to stretch my hair.
