Finally, success with Darcy's Botanical's! I've been putting my fro through the ringer trying to play around with these products to see if I will be able to use them in ANY way. I was finally able to avoid hard, crunchy, & dull hair (which have been my previous results with the products) with this stretched wash & go.
For this fro, on wet hair, I scrunched in this order: avocado oil, The Sweet Cocoa Bean Curl Smoothing Cream, and the Avocado and Honey Twisting Cream. This combo is awesome sauce! (At least for my wash and go's lol.) It left my hair super soft and there was absolutely no crunch. After applying the products, I used my Goody Flex Clips (about 12-15) to separate my hair into little puffs... which prevents my hair from shrinking all the way down. Here's an example of how I place the clips in; I do this on wet hair as well as damp/dry hair: Stretching My True Wash & Go (Tutorial + Pics) - NaturalMe4C http://youtu.be/2e4o4tBpr1w Last, I sat under the dryer, using the cool setting, on high speed, for 20-30 minutes. I fluffed my ever so smushed hair with my fingers and a pik being careful not to disturb whatever coils I had left. :) This stretched wash & go is pretty bushy because I finger detangled my hair a LOT during the cowash session. (I mentioned before in videos that the more I toil with my coils prior to and during the washing session, will determine how coily my hair will remain for the style.) Those little things really do matter, and can effect the entire look in the end. But I'm diggin' the bush lol.
