Eden BodyWorks Pudding Souffle and Curl Defining Cream (for my twistouts)

I'm glad I got the chance to try out these products because they are affordable and contain great ingredients :) I have purchased all the products in the line but the leave in conditioner which I am going to get as soon as possible so I can review how the products work together. In short, these products did not work well for my twistouts... the glycerin made my hair crazy frizzy once again and I had no control over it. Both products are said to resist humidity, but my fro put up a huge fuss and rebelled for real!

I was able to get 1st day hair, but no 2nd day hair :( I am interested to see how these products would work on my wash and gos since using them for stretch this time of year is a no go for me. Again, I will try them out again once I get the leave in conditioner (which also has glycerin in it lol, but I'm still hopeful!!!) Maybe once the weather cools, I'll be able to use these for stretched styles :) So far, I give these stylers a 3 out of 5 because they made my hair feel soft and strong, but I didn't get any hold from them this time of year.

Pros For My Fro

* Inexpensive $7.49- $8.99 for 16 oz

* Light pleasant scent

* Great ingredients

* Moisturizing but not long lasting moisture

* Silicone free

* Mineral oil free

Cons For My Fro

* On its own, not much slip

* Kinda draggy feeling when used on wet hair (gel like)

* Caused my hair to bush, ball up, and frizz uncontrolably

* Hold lasted only 1 day

* Contains glycerin which my hair is VERY iffy with :(

Pros For My Fro

* Inexpensive $7.49- $8.99
* Nice scent
* Smooth texture on my hair :)
* Great ingredients
* Decent slip
* Silicone free
* Mineral oil free

I'm working on posting the ingredients :) In the meantime, they are available on the Eden Body Works website :)

Cons For My Fro

* Caused major uncontrolled frizz for me :( (it bushed and balled up again...)

* Contains glycerin which is VERY iffy for my fro

* No hold for stretched styles during the summer

I had the same experience>>>great 1st day hair and that was it>>>needed to re moisturized as well and I have 3c/4a hair

I saw these products at Kroger (supermarket) and thought I'd give them a try. Maybe later in the year, tho. I feel my product junky-ism setting in.

i am still not sure of how to use.. i use curl defining cream on its own... for detangling n as a levae in.. i some how find it very difficult to as a leave n detangler.. even though its its buttery its nonot slippery..
