Hey! In this video, I share how I achieve a mid length twistout using Jane Carter products! The shape of this style reminds me of a bob- like cut. It's amazing what shrinkage can do lol. I hope it helps! ;)
Someone wanted to know what was happening under that scarf this morning lol. Well, last night, I tried out the Camille Rose Naturals Aloe Whipped Butter Gel for the first time on a wet banded twistout and fell in #LOVE! Is it too soon to say staple?!? (Staple for the Curl Love too lol!) So far, my coils love both!
Yesterday's dry twistout was awesome!!! I used my @oyinhandmade and an oldie but goodie @cvs After Sun Aloe Vera Gel. Remember I used to use that alllll the time! :D I stopped because it had the iffy dmdm hydantoin... but this gel has always delivered and I'm probably going to be bringing it back in rotation.
I love rockin' high puffs! This is one of if not the fastest hairstyle ever lol. I think one of the best things about puffs in general, is the fact that it can turn a failed hairstyle into something amazing looking in minutes! I'm talking' failed twistouts, braid outs, wash and go's, bantu knot outs, styles that didn't dry fully, etc. The puff can and will save the day lol!
Hey! In this video, I use CURLS products to do a light trim as well a defined twist out for the first time! Let's see how it goes! I hope it helps! Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more videos! ;)

The Take Down
My hair #loves these products! SERIOUSLY! The #softness is #crazy!
Products in hair:
Nutrient Replenshing Conditioner (which I used as a leave in prior to semi - drying my hair with my Laila Ali Soft Bonnet Dryer. I sat under the dryer for about 10 minutes with butterfly clips to help stretch my hair. This got my hair about 90 percent dry.)
Note: The conditioner I currently have has the ingredients listed differently than what is listed on the Jane Carter website. :/ The one I have starts with purified water, olive frail oil, sage extract, rosemary extract, basil extract, mullein extract, and so on.
For styling on each section prior to twisting I used in this order:
Creamy Leave In Styling Smoother
Wrap and Roll
Nourish and Shine
Good morning! I decided to have #fun with a dry twistout! I used my flexi rods (just like last year lol) for some stretch! I can definitely see that my hair has gained some length since posting the video on this technique last year. :) How do you use flex rods?
Products in hair:
#edenbodyworks #coconutshea leave in,
& #janecartersolution #nourishandshin
Here's last years vid of what I basically did. I just have different things in my hair this time. I hope to record an updated version once I learn the new camera.

Hey! I was asked to review a few products from the Gaisie Body Essentials line and I wanted to share how things are going so far!
These are the products I currently have:
Avocado Deep Treatment
Shea Styling Smoothie
Coconut Sculpting Pomade
I'm very pleased with the results thus far from the products, my hair feels great and I'm currently on day 3 hair. I look forward to doing a full review on these soon, but I want to try them out a few more times. Have you ever tried this line out?
(BTW, the day 2 hair is what I'm rockin' in today's vlog,
Pimples From Chocolate??? And Missing Teeth! - (VLOG) - Kriss & Ty https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZS2T11f_kk)
Day 1 (Damp/Dry Twistout)
Ignore the pimple on my chin and forehead lol, and on top of that it was pretty early in the morning!)
Re- twisted hair after spritzing with water and using
Shea Styling Smoothie and Coconut Sculpting Pomade
Alright, here is Day 3 (today) hair from Gaisie Body Essentials. Last night, I was very tired so I didn't do anything to my hair other than pin it up kinda like the pineapple method and slept with my satin- like skirt slip lol.
I didn't add any product last night or this morning. This morning, I removed the bobby pins from my smushed hair, placed a shower cap over my hair, and hopped in the shower to let the steam loosen it up like in this video from awhile back, 4C Natural Hair - Maintaining My Hair Without Re-Twisting Nightly- (Wet Twistout Night Routine)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8Qo7dxM9dk
After that, all I did was fluff my hair with my fingers and a pik. My fro is bushier but still has some definition and it isn't too shrunken! I'm chillin' this afternoon and this is good for me! I'll probably cowash tomorrow.

Hey! As promised, here's how the LCO method, Eden Body Works/ Burnt Sugar Pomade twistout has been lasting for me. I have just been adding very little product to frizzy areas and retwisting and lightly banding. :)
Btw, I washed my hair on the 16th (which I consider day 1), removed the twists the next day (17th) which were the picture results I posted yesterday.
In this post, the pics in the black shirt are from the 18th and the striped shirt with Big Mike are from today the 19th. ( I attempted a few flat twists along with regular twists last night to practice. :O I need to work on those ya'll!)
My scalp is doing great! It doesn't smell dirty like it tend to do around this time (ugh) and I've have very little itching this morning... I added a little burnt sugar pomade to the itchy areas and it's fine now. I plan to cowash tomorrow... or drag this out some.
Hey! In this video I'm sharing a quick way I like to save failed twistouts/braidouts etc! We all have those days sometimes lol.
BTW, This is the style I rocked recently in the SM Tahitian Noni & Monoi Shopping/Big Chop Talk? (VLOG) - Kriss & Ty http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfhEHqyos1k video. :) I hope this helps!
Thanks soo much for your support and comments! :)
The Steps :)
High definition alert! If you like twistouts with lots of definition, the SM Hold and Shine Moisture Mist may help. I tried a combo of avocado oil, SM Curl and Shine Conditioner, and SM Hold and Shine Moisture Mist (about 30-35 spritzes over entire head. ( It sounds like a lot of spritzes, but some spritzes were inconsistent.) I did a regular twistout set on damp hair. I was surprised at the amount of hold I got as well as the definition from the twists! Now I personally don't go for definition, I like fluff lol, but I wanted to share the results with you. :D
As for the feel of my hair, it wasn't incredibly soft like with Oyin... but it was ok. I honestly think that the old formula of the mist left my hair softer as well as more moisturized than the new formula. :/ The new one is more watery... Also, the scent although it now states in the ingredients that it has hibiscus extract, it doesn't smell as good as the older one. Go figure...
I will continue trying new ways to use the mist to see if it works better with other things and other styles. :)
