Today, I'm sharing the details and also, as requested, showing how I wash and disinfect my hair sponges to keep them fresh for use. I hope you enjoy this video! God bless! What up!!! I'm back with a long overdue hair update! So much has changed with my hair from hair loss recovery, my feelings about my natural hair, and what my husband thinks about my hair. So today, I'm spilling the "tea." Grab your actual tea and enjoy lol! :)  Here's a little comparison over the past few months... not bad! The September pic was taken on the 26th right before heading to the barber. The February pic was taken on the 12th the night before my last trip to the barber to get shaped up. I scissor trimmed the top and let the barber do the side's and back like usual. ☺  Yeeessss the worlds fastest messy twistout is all done! The front needs some work lol but its all good. 🤔😅 Byyyeeeee! Off to Food Lion!  Alright, my sides are all cleaned up! Today's cut was smooth sailing and took only about a half hour. 🤗 I'm just gonna twist the top real quick and let it sit for about an hour before removing them. After I take my twists out I'm headed out to do grocery shopping before getting the boys from school. #momlife #natural #naturalme4c  What up y'all! She got tall! 😅 TBH, other than keeping my sides cut low(at the barber where im headed now...) and cutting my top as needed, I haven't done anything special to my hair this past year... I really haven't. I haven't followed any hair rules or real regimens either lol. I have just been handling her accordingly day by day. I shampoo or cowash as needed and deep condition as needed. (And honestly, when I deep condition it's not for an extended amount of time lol....more like 5 to 10 minutes 😂. My hair shrinks a ton so if I want height I use my blowdryer without issue. I've pretty much used the same few products all year and haven't bought anything new in forever. My day to day life has been very busy and my hair being in a tapered cut has allowed me to live and go about my day without worrying and taking forever to style my hair. Having a cut allows me to forget about the my problem areas on my head... the nape, edges, & front. I used to spend soo much time trying to blend and work around those areas to make my styles come out right.... It was a tough pill to swallow at first, but y'all, I'm really happy with my decision to start over with Ms. Fro last year. Btw @bitmoji can y'all come out with a few larger afro hairstyles? Thanks!!! My character is gonna need a new do 😂. Here's my hair texture without using a hair sponge, twisting or stretching it. My hair is freshly washed and dried. ( I used DevaCurl Build Up Booster and One Conditon... and I added J Jane Carter Solution Nourish and Shine a long with some Fantasia IC Gel. I wanted to see what my hair does without the serum tonight.😉 My hair would be even tighter if I didn't use the Nourish and Shine but yeah ...I don't need any knots lol! Some people thought my curl pattern changed because of the way it looks when I gently use a sponge on it lol. Nope! Here she is!
