I changed it up a little by using Oyin products to trim instead of gel but I did the same trim technique I usually do in my videos. :) I took about 1/2 inch+ off in some spots. (More than usual.) Here are the wet twistout results after the trim! For this wet twistout, I had an Oyin night lol. I used avocado oil, Oyin's Hair Dew, Whipped Pudding and Burnt Sugar Pomade. I also banded the twists to stretch my hair some. My wet twistouts are still no where near as full as my dry ones, but I don't think it looks too bad. BTW, the shine I get from this product line is insane!!! Ty even noticed lol. :) It's time again! I'm so over this "transition" out of incomplete splits ya'll lol. It's been almost 5 months since the "incident" and I'm bout ready to be done with it. (Hey, I only had patience enough to transition to natural for 6 months and then chopped. This is similar lol.) This time I HAVE to trim because the splits are starting to open and break. :/ I'm not upset because I knew I would have to make cuts at some point. I made a personal goal to "transition" at least until the end of the year... even though I did a minor trim in November (Impatient lol.) I've actually been letting people know for months that I've been enjoying the current length I'm at and although I want to grow my hair longer it's not really a huge deal for me at the moment. I'm taking each day at a time. We'll see! Here's where it all started... smh We had a GREAT time over the last couple days with family! The boys have been having a blast! But I gotta be honest, I'm soo exhausted lol!!! In fact, Gabe and Mike didn't get up til around 10:30 this morning! The boys have been playing with their new toys well into the late hours and Ty and I have been putting things together and setting stuff up for them. :) (Not to mention fighting with the crazy packaging toys come in nowadays.... tape, screws, and zip ties lol!) The house was a mess last night lol. We're so glad they're happy! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Here is the story of Jesus Christ's birth! :D We shouldn't forget that Jesus is the reason for the season! Spending time with family, surprising each other with presents, giving back to communities, and more! However, we must not forget to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Sleeves too short... pant legs too short...lol. Unfortunately, my Goodwill doesn't have good kid clothes so I went to Boscov's for Big Man Gabe. They had great sales on Polo items as well as some thermos. The total for the clothes we're keeping (some stuff didn't fit right lol) was $61.93... a bit more than my $20 buck Goodwill limit, but hey, the men in the house gotta stay fresh. :) It's been a rough few weeks! Ty has some real talk with Gabe...appreciate what's important in life... For whatever reason the dry twistout I set last night was wet this morning! SMH! So it was an INSTANT fail :/ Alhtough I was a little frustrated, I didn't have time to sulk lol.
