The secret's out! We're finally on Twitter and Instagram! (Better late than never... but we're pretty late lol.) We hope you join us there!
I trimmed today. :D My hair was about 9-10 inches long in most places. It is currently about 8.5-9.5 inches long. (Depending on where you start :))
For the second time, I tried to trim without doing twists first on dry hair. (I haven't recorded this way yet because I haven't quite mastered it lol.) I still prefer trimming my hair in very small twists (wet or dry) like in the vids on my channel. It just works better for me and doesn't take me nearly as long. In fact, after trimming out of twists today, I twisted each section and re-trimmed that lol!!!
Although trimming in twists don't lead to the straightest hair cuts, my hair has surprisingly been pretty even. I always say there's no rule lol. What's your favorite way to trim?

Trip to Sally's! I didn't get much but they had a buy 2 get 1 free sale on Eden Body Works. I got my FAVORITE cowashing product that I'm almost out of again. They were $7.99 each for 16 oz. (Sooo affordable!) For the free item, I chose the Jojoba Monoi All Natural Deep Conditioner which I'm FINALLY trying out lol. I hope it doesn't disappoint! Last, I got a Sally Beauty card which I'm like 10 years late with lol. Today, the card was only $2.50 instead of $5.00.
If you've been following my journey, you may know that I'm not a huge fan of high definition twistouts on my fro. I have very fine hair and it appears much thinner when it's super defined. :/ So I tend to "over fluff" my twistouts to create the look of fuller hair.
For awhile, I haven't been feelin' the way my wet twistouts have been coming out. This style worked like a charm when my hair was short but as it grew, it just didn't act right lol. I also was getting a lot of frizz whenever I twisted on soaking wet hair. Thus, I started venturing into the world of damp/dry twisting instead. I even started to band my twists with satin scrunchies when set on both wet and dry hair to add extra stretch and fullness. However, recently I became curious to see if I could achieve a decent looking wet twistout once again.
For this twistout, I decided to reach for my Oyin Handmade products since they have been giving me consistent results thus far. :) Sure enough, they didn't disappoint this time either!

I have been pretty successful during the last two trips to the Goodwill! I found lots of cute tops that I can dress up or down. (It's keeps me from being too boring even though I tend to only run local errands lol!) I've been waiting for another 50% off sale, but they haven't had it in awhile. So I ended up paying $4.00 each for the tops. I got lots of Express stuff, along with Old Navy, Elle, Banana Republic and Gap.
This week, we're continuing on the topic of reaching your goals and aspirations! Don't forget, we're destined to be what God wants us to be, which is awesome!
...and you know HE does it up big! So get ready!!!
(KJV) Jeremiah chapter 29 verses 11-13
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
