I'm really glad I haven't had trouble finger detangling my wash and go's any more! Especially since my wash and go's usually end up in TONS of knots and tangles :/ However, since I have been wearing the "stretched" wash and go's it has been soo much easier to get through. I'm soo happy that breaking down my stretched wash and go isn't any harder than breaking down a twistout :D I only had to snip 2 very tiny knots this time which is pretty normal for my fro :) This process takes me about 25-30 minutes at my current length :) Here's what I did:

It's been a little over 2 weeks since Ty decided to "treat" himself to a vacation from the scale and his diet. He definitely had a little bit of everything in the pantry lol! He wanted to share an update on what happened during his time of fun :D Oh boy! Check out,
Ty Live! - Diet/Workout Break Update! on YouTube! (TyLiveChannel) Good afternoon! Micah and I decided to stop by AC Moore Arts and Crafts Store today to look for scarves :) I'm usually able to find some pretty cool prints there for under $5.00. Today, I ended up finding a pretty green animal print scarf for $2.99 that I'm going to cut a strip off to use as a headband lol. I have to admit I may be going back there again tomorrow because they were having a TON of stuff on sale lol. It was almost like clearance! I ended up picking up a storage case/box that can be used for things like makeup and jewelry and they were only $5.00! (They are usually 15-20 bucks!!!) It's a pretty sturdy case and it's covered in a neat printed paper that jazzes it up a bit :) I also forgot to post this like a week ago lol, but I picked up a new baby brush from Target for under 4 bucks :) The brush has a nice weight to it but it's very gentle on the edges :) So this will keep my fro happy! BTW, I think I'm gonna try using the comb a little bit when I decide to do a detailed detangle on my hair lol. I'm just curious, because it's very flexible like my purple wide toothed comb :D It's normal to shed 50-100 hairs a day. More or less depending on the amount of hair you have and what is normal for your body :) You can tell if a hair is shed rather than broken if there is a white bulb on the end of it. Usually, shed hairs are about the length of your hair. Although shedding is healthy and normal for everyone, excessive shedding is something that can turn into a pretty big problem if it goes untreated. Thinning hair, bald patches, and large clumps of hair fall are signs that action needs to take place. Possible causes of Excess Shedding * Poor Diet (not eating enough fruits and veggies) * Not drinking enough water * High Stress (Count to 5 lol!) * Hormone fluctuations ( low iron, postpartum shedding, thyroid, blood pressure) * Genetics * Medications (Some medicines have hair loss as side effects :( ) * Chemical damage (Relaxers and hair color can cause excessive shedding) Things that can help minimize Excess Shedding * Low Stress * Healthier eating choices * Staying hydrated * Black tea rinse * Garlic treatments (Supplements, shampoos and conditioners) *Scalp massages help stimulate blood flow to promote growth (Castor oil is a great oils for scalp massages :D ) * Low tension styles/ Less combing and brushing (This way you won't remove hair that isn't ready to be shed yet lol) *Take your vitamins :) Check out, Shedding & Breakage (Hair Talk)- NaturalMe4C

Have a blessed day! Avocado Oil (Dr. Adorable Inc) I'm soo glad I decided to try this oil! It's soo great :) I love using it on both my hair and skin. This oil now has a place on my sink! BTW, you can find this oil on EBAY :)
I was excited to try this product as I have heard soo many wonderful things about it. This product contains ingredients like, black soap, sea salt, salicylic acid, and kaolin clay that are supposed to help with clarifying the hair and scalp. I have to admit that I was nervous looking at these ingredients and worried if it would be too harsh on my hair. But I was feeling daring and since I haven't heard to many negative things about this product I was like "why not?" Besides, the last time I clarified my hair was in January... Well, I'm glad I tried this product... I like it, but I'm not 100% happy with it. This product is an EXCELLENT detangler and clarifyier, but it stripped my hair too much :( I'm not going to toss it out because it does have a place in my regimen, however, I am only going to use this product every couple months or so. I will have to pair this with a highly moisturizing conditioner like Giovanni Smooth As Silk to prevent dryness. If paring this product with a highly moisturizing conditioner doesn't work, then I will be looking into a different way to clarify my hair :) (Probably apple cider vinegar rinses.) I now have to spend the rest of the week trying to get my fro's moisture levels back up (she's currently mad at me lol) It looks like I will be doing another deep condition! (Apparently this is the month of deep conditioning for me lol.)
